Godzilla Melee Remastered: the reported Beyond the Boundary route
The reported route is Custom mode, Melee with a three-to-four-player setting, then five wins on Seattle Complete and five wins on San Francisco Complete. Steam player アーク supplied that setup on November 3 and clarified the separate five-win counts on November 4. They report that concentrating the wins on one map did not satisfy the requirement.
This answers the unclear two-city condition for the Beyond the Boundary Rumor. It is a dated player solution, not an official rule or our own gameplay test. Return to the G-Force Lab after the results and inspect the Rumor itself; match wins alone do not prove its Research Project or a later unlock is finished.

Start with the right Rumor and available arenas
- Confirm that the Lab entry you are solving is named Beyond the Boundary.
- Have Custom Melee available and check that both Seattle Complete and San Francisco Complete can be selected. The source does not establish a route for unlocking these arena variants.
- Use the reported three-to-four-player setup. The author does not establish whether CPU participants qualify, which platform they used, or whether the matches were online or local.
If a prerequisite arena is locked, inspect its actual Lab condition using the permanent-research sequence. This guide does not invent a prerequisite chain or a workaround for an unavailable variant.
Keep the two city counts separate
Select Custom Melee
Check the mode and the reported three-to-four-player setting before starting. A one-on-one Versus result is a different setup from the one the author describes.
Choose Seattle Complete
Read the full arena name, including Complete. Record five wins on that variant rather than grouping every Seattle result together.
Choose San Francisco Complete
Record five wins here as a separate count. The author's follow-up specifically rejects completing the whole requirement on just one map; it does not establish that the order of the two cities matters.
Reopen the Rumor in the Lab
After the match results, check the displayed condition for Beyond the Boundary. If a Research Project becomes available, inspect its next requirement before assuming the final reward is already unlocked.
For the difference between Custom rules and other modes, compare the mode objectives. That overview helps you choose the setup; it does not independently verify this Rumor's city counts.
If the reported wins are not satisfying the Rumor
- I chose Los Angeles or Tokyo
- The source author initially tried those cities, then specified Seattle Complete and San Francisco Complete. Use the named variants when checking this reported route.
- I won all ten on one city
- The author's own one-map attempt did not satisfy the requirement. Keep five Seattle Complete wins and five San Francisco Complete wins separately.
- I played a different rule or arena variation
- Compare Custom Melee, the player-count setting and the full Complete arena names. A similar-looking city or a one-on-one result is not the author's reported setup.
- The Lab still shows an unmet condition after matching the setup
- Record the installed platform/build, actual rule, participant setup, arena names and the Lab's remaining condition. CPU eligibility, online/local scope and a later changed rule are unverified here. Do not treat more untracked matches as a confirmed repair.
Check the Lab result, then the next step
The task is complete for your session when Beyond the Boundary shows its condition fulfilled in the G-Force Lab. An available Project is the next research step, not proof of an already awarded monster or arena. If the condition remains open, use the specific setup checks above before another session.

Steam: help with Beyond the Boundary rumor - Kaijufan95's question and all four replies read November 4 at 17:03:50 UTC. アーク's setup reply is dated November 3, 22:57 PST; their five-wins-per-city clarification is November 4, 00:07 PST. Another participant says they will try it, without a later success report in the read thread. Platform and executable build are unstated.
The general Rumor-to-Project distinction uses the existing source-based Lab guide; it is separate from the player's specific city solution.
