Plan a Survival run around carried health and the right reward

Evidence checked 3 Nov 2026 UTC · review-build scope; no site gameplay test

The short answer

Survival is a sequence of fights in which health carries forward, with some recovery between victories. Respec's PS5/Switch 2 report describes an endless opponent sequence; Kaiju United's PC review emphasizes preserving health across one-on-one bouts.

Choose it for the endurance run or a supported research goal. The PC reviewer reports RP without Character XP, so do not use that report as a character-level route. No universal RP multiplier, best farming rate or site-tested survival strategy is claimed.

Set the goal before entering

  1. Choose endurance, research or leveling

For research, make the correct available Lab Project current and meet any displayed condition. For individual levels, use the XP route instead of relying on the PC Survival report.

  2. Keep normal progress enabled

Turn Tournament off. Choose a fighter whose attacks and energy cost you know; a locked character first needs the normal research unlock.

  3. Note the health state between bouts

Expect some recovery rather than a promised full reset. Compare the end of one bout with the start of the next so your next approach reflects the health you actually have.

Make the next fight less expensive

The following is practical advice based on the reported rules, not a tested optimal route.

  • Favor repeatable openings: a short attack you can land deliberately can cost less health than repeated heavy windups that get interrupted.
  • Keep an energy reserve: repeated specials or flight can leave some fighters slow or limited. Know the monster's low-energy response before the next opponent.
  • Watch the arena as well as the opponent: health and energy boosts, electrified boundaries and destructible cover can change a fight. Do not chase an item through an attack simply because the run is low on health.
  • Carry one lesson forward: identify the exchange that cost most health and change the approach in the next bout, instead of changing several inputs and fighters at once.

Use the Practice routine before another run if basic range and grabs are still uncertain. Practice itself is not the cited RP route.

Check the result against your intended progress

I earned research but no character XP
That matches the PC review. A research result does not establish a leveling result; change modes if the character level was your goal.
The Project is not advancing
Check Tournament, the selected current Project and its conditions in the research diagnosis. A locked prerequisite is not solved by a longer run.
I keep losing at the next opponent
Inspect carried health, energy use and the attack that is costing you most. A partial heal does not erase the preceding fight's mistakes.
I want the fastest RP farm
The sources do not give a controlled all-platform rate comparison. A PC multiplier anecdote is insufficient for that promise.

You have a useful run when…

You can clear another opponent with an intentional plan and identify the carried-health cost. For a research session, separately confirm that the intended current Project advanced at the result.
