Check the official PC system requirements

Evidence checked 3 Nov 2026 UTC · Nov 2 reviews and current official listings

The short answer

The Steam minimum lists Windows 10 64-bit, an i7-9700 or Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB RAM, a GTX 1650 with 4 GB VRAM, DirectX 12 and 8 GB available storage. Compare each part of your PC, especially RAM and dedicated GPU memory, before treating it as a match.

These are the official requirements read November 3, 2026 UTC. They are not a measured FPS/resolution target, a Steam Deck certification or a promise that every system meeting them will perform identically.

Compare your PC before buying or installing

  1. Identify the exact hardware

In Windows, check System → About for OS, processor and installed RAM, then inspect the display adapter's exact model and dedicated memory. Windows Task Manager's Performance view can help identify CPU and GPU, while the DirectX Diagnostic Tool can provide display details. Record the model, not only “i7” or “GeForce.”

  2. Compare every requirement

Check the CPU model, RAM, GPU and VRAM separately. Shared system memory is not the same label as the listed dedicated 4 GB VRAM. A laptop GPU name can differ from a desktop model; this page does not establish equivalence for unlisted hardware.

  3. Check OS, DirectX and available disk space

Use the Windows 64-bit requirement and 8 GB available-space figure. Storage free on a different drive does not help the intended install location. Leave ordinary room for platform downloads and updates; no exact extra buffer is established here.

  4. Decide what remains uncertain

Meeting listed specs clears a requirements comparison, not a benchmark. If performance on your exact configuration matters, look for a current test with the same GPU/CPU, resolution and settings before making a hardware purchase.

What these specs do not answer

Will it run at a specific frame rate?
The requirements do not supply a tested FPS/settings target here. We have not performed a site benchmark at specified settings.
Does Steam Deck or Linux work?
This source lists Windows, not a verified Steam Deck/Linux result. Compatibility and controller behavior remain unverified here; meeting a rough hardware comparison is insufficient.
Do I need a controller?
The requirements block does not resolve a mandatory-controller claim. Consult the current Steam input/controller information and in-game prompts; no keyboard map or exclusive input requirement is established by this table.
The game fails despite meeting the table
Record the exact error, OS/build, GPU/driver and game version, then compare current official support notices. The spec table does not prove a reinstall, launch option or driver change will fix a specific failure.

Choose a version and a first task

If a PC shortfall changes your buying decision, compare the verified console versions rather than assuming older consoles have the remaster. If friends are the reason for choosing PC, check multiplayer compatibility before buying different platforms.

Once ready to play, start with a practice routine or the normal Lab progression route.

The requirements check is complete when…

You have compared OS, CPU, RAM, GPU/VRAM, DirectX and install-drive space against the current listing, and identified any missing or uncertain component. A performance or compatibility promise needs a separate test.
